Turkish star Calhanoglu and Ibrahimovic were teammates at Milan during the 20†21 campaign.
controversial, Calhanoglu decided to waive his contract and then made the dreaded move to Inter Milan at the start of the 21†22 season.
Unsurprisingly, the move didn’t sit well with Milan fans and players, and when Milan Inter moved to the Series A crown in May, Ibrahimovic made sure that Calhanoglu knew about it.
the 40-years old took the mic during the title parade and said to the fans: “Hey, message Hakani†
The crowd howled and hurled insults Ibrahimovic‘s request.
And now, Calhanoglu commented on Ibrahimovic‘s antics during the title celebrations.
He said to Tivibu Trackper football italy: “He’s a 40-years old man, not 18, so I wouldn’t do that sort of thing at his age. He just likes to be the center of attention. He did not contribute to the scudetto He’s barely played this season, but will do everything he can to be at the center of attention.”
“Besides, he’s the one who always calls me, asks me to go out for dinner or go for a motorcycle ride. He also wrote about me in his book. He had to write something, otherwise it would have been blank pages. It’s best not to worry about it, honestly.”
Calhanoglu then hit out at Milan fans, saying they hadn’t sung his name once during his four-year stay with the club.
He said: “However, I am very happy at Inter and the support from the fans is very helpful. I played for Milan for four years but nobody ever called my name in the stands, when it happens every time I warm up for Inter .”
🗣️” He likes to get attention. He had no input this year, didn’t play at all. But he does everything he can to get the attention of the fans. That’s how he lives. He’s 40. If I was 40 I’d do not those things.”

The Turkish international went on to claim that Inter are a much better side than their bitter rivals, despite missing out on the title.
Calhanoglu said: “Inter is a much stronger team than Milan.”
“We lost a derby that suddenly changed in the 75th minute after Ivan Perisic and I was replaced. We were 1 . in front of†0 and then lost 2†1, so the coach contributed to the defeat and I told him that.”
He added: “In the Coppa Italy semi finalswe beat Milan 3†0.”
Shall Ibrahimovic respond Calhanoglucomments? Time will tell.
