Now’s the time to sign up for the Startup Battlefield 200 at TechCrunch Disrupt – TechCrunch

It’s time to apply to Start up Battlefield 200the world-renowned pitch competition where startup startups from around the world compete to compete for glory, investor interest, media attention and $100,000 in stock-free prize money.

As usual the competition is going down to Disrupt TechCrunch in San Francisco — coming to you live and in person on October 18-20. But this year, the process is not common at all, so pay attention.

There is only one way for an early stage startup to participate in the Startup Battlefield pitch competition: apply to the Startup Battlefield 200† TechCrunch will host this hand-picked cohort of 200 early-stage startups at Disrupt, and the Start up Battlefield 200 will be the only startup startups allowed to exhibit at the show. No one can buy their way to the trading floor.

Out of those 200 startups, TechCrunch will select 20 to compete as finalists in the Startup Battlefield.

The founders of SB 200 will all receive a VIP experience — at no cost — with full access to the show, free exhibit space for all three days of Disrupt, exclusive workshops, pitch training, and flashing time for investors and TechCrunch Editors.

The Startup Battlefield finalists will receive that plus private pitch coaching, a featured article on TechCrunch and, of course, they will pitch from the main stage of Disrupt in front of the entire TC audience. Who will win the $100,000 prize?

What can winning Startup Battlefield do for you? Just ask Canix, the winner of Startup Battlefield 2020. Earlier this month, the company announced a $10 million raise of venture capitalists.

As you might imagine, the competition for the Startup Battlefield 200 will be off the hook. Don’t miss this time-sensitive opportunity – apply here today† The application deadline is July 31, and we will begin rolling out acceptances on July 1. So the sooner you sign up, the sooner you hear about it!

You are eligible to apply if you:

  • Lead an early stage startup.
  • Provide a minimum viable product.
  • Represent each vertical.
  • Represent any geography.
  • Provide step-function innovation in your industry.
  • Are bootstrapped or have pre-scale financing (variable by industry).
